Operating Room Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Arizona
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Includes call and late call requirements
• Estimated 5–6 call/late call shifts per month, depending on staffing

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room experience

Additional Notes

• Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
• Minimal to no holiday RTO preferred

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check with 7-year search within 30 days of start; must be updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check, annually
• HHS/OIG check, annually
• Transcript or diploma
• Education verification through NSCH
• NRP, as required
• Competency exam, as applicable
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start, then annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; annual TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation for candidates born in 1957 or later
• Hepatitis B immunity documentation, declination, or vaccine series
• Varicella immunity documentation, declination, or vaccine history
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
• 2 references within 3 years of start
