SICU

Role Overview

Registered Nurse assignment in SICU/ICU.
13-week travel/contract role in Aurora, Colorado.
Rotating shifts on various days of the week.
First-time travelers are accepted if experience requirements are met.

Unit Details

24-bed ICU.
Level I Trauma Center.
Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Care includes patients from multiple surgical service lines, including Surgical Oncology, Gyn Oncology, Vascular, Orthopedic Spine, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Transplant, Obstetrics, and Poly Trauma.

Schedule

36 hours per week.
Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
On-call is not required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

NIH.
TNCC.
TCAR.
ATCN.

Additional Notes

Charting system: EPIC.
Scrub color: Navy Blue.
Ratios: 1:2.
