Required Qualifications

Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
NBRC
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
Must have the required certs and license in hand at time of submission
Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references
3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the pending assignment
Unit-specific skills checklist
Unit-specific competency exam within 12 months of start
Transcript/Diploma
Background check
FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months of start
Pre-employment physical within 1 year of start
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
Negative 2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold TB test/T-Spot within 6 months of start, or chest x-ray if there is a past positive TB history
Rubeola (Measles) immunity documentation
Mumps immunity documentation
Rubella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B immunity documentation or signed declination
Varicella immunity documentation
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
I9/E-Verify attestation
Online training modules completed before start
Photo badge on file before start
Valid government-issued photo ID while on assignment

Preferred

AHA RQI BLS certification is preferred over non-RQI BLS

Schedule / Float

Weekends as needed
May float as needed to CCF facilities, including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and Pulmonary Main Campus

All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated during submission and interview
All work history, including any Cleveland Clinic positions, must be included in the profile
Copies of required certifications must be included with submission
