Overview

• Travel/Contract RN / MS in Saint Louis, Missouri
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Ratios: 1:3–5
• Start date: 3–4 weeks out per compliance tier
• First-timers accepted
• Weekend requirement: every other
• Float scope: within service line
• Pending license accepted
• Local candidates not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• No on-call requirement
• No block schedule accommodation
• RTO: no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
• Guaranteed hours: yes, with 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Unit / Setting

• Cystic Fibrosis / Lung transplant / Medicine Unit
• Standard medicine patients may overflow into the unit
• Care is primary care nursing

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Government-issued ID
• Primary source verification of professional license
• Missouri license verification through NURSYS
• Unit-specific competency exam
• Basic Dysrhythmia exam for RNs in this specialty
• Two professional references
• Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year of start
• Employment application
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask
• Tdap vaccine or declination
• Negative TB or chest x-ray
• Flu vaccination or exemption during flu season
• Drug testing within 1 year of start
