Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract
Location
- New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 12 weeks
Work Schedule
- Night shift
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 to 7:00)
- Total 36 hours per week
- Weekend coverage every other weekend
Job Description
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during events, requiring staying onsite until the event passes or serving as part of a relief team.
- Must be comfortable with emergency event assignments as directed by unit management.
- Unit accepts first-time travel Respiratory Therapists but requires experienced RRTs (no new graduates).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
