Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room (ER) with a minimum of 1 year of experience. This role involves caring for a patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics in a fast-paced ER setting.

Patient Population

• Infants to Geriatrics

Unit Details

• General ER
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
• 46 rooms with an average daily census of 135 patients
• Unit systems used: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Schedule & Requirements

• Return to Office (RTO) maximum: 7 days
• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend
• Floating: Yes, may float to a nearby campus
• Call: None
• Holiday work: Required to work major holidays if they fall during the assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Compliance & Orientation

• Full compliance required to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation scheduling
• Orientation hours vary based on contract length

Required Qualifications & Documents

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Floating may include coverage at a sister campus
• Candidates must be prepared to work assigned holidays as specified
• Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies such as Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start

Prior Travel Experience

• One completed travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not accepted for this role
