Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Overview

  • Travel/contract assignment in Staten Island, New York
  • Outpatient adult oncology imaging setting
  • 8-week assignment
  • Weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • No shift rotation
  • Approximately 12 patients per day

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New York
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
  • NMTCB
  • Safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT (N)
  • ARRT (PET)
  • PET/CT experience
  • Previous Charge Technologist experience
  • Hospital experience
  • Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment

Patient Population

  • Adult and geriatric patients
  • Oncology primary diagnosis

Work Environment

  • Outpatient cancer center
  • Oncology-focused imaging
