Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Portland, Oregon
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 3:00 AM–3:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- First-time travelers are accepted
Schedule and work setting
- Floating between units is required based on unit needs
- May float to postpartum and high-risk antepartum
- On-call is required if cancelled
- Every other weekend is required
- Block scheduling is not required
- 48-hour schedules are not approved
- Expected patient ratios: 1:1 and 1:3
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Post Partum experience
- Antepartum experience
Additional notes
- Common to float to other units based on skill set
- If floating consecutive shifts, hotel lodging may be offered at additional cost
- Parking is free
- Epic is used for charting
