Unit Overview

Unit: Cath Lab
Beds: 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath/Suites
Staff: 9 total
Shift: Day shift, approximately 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM (CVL 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM pre/post, variable)
Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area
Equipment: GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Experience: Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
Skills:
- ACLS certification required
- 2 years Cath Lab experience required
Preferred Skills:
- Holding experience
- Monitoring experience

Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures
Pacemakers (Pacers)
Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs)
Cardioversions
Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
Tilt Table Tests
Dobutamine Stress Tests

Additional Information

Must take on-call responsibilities with the team
Must reside within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab
