Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Mountain View, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment based on physician orders, addressing patients’ physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs.
• Advise other team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Work under direct supervision of department leadership.
• Patient care may involve heavy lifting, bending, standing, pushing (up to 40 lbs), pulling (up to 60 lbs), gripping (up to 50 lbs), pinching (up to 15 lbs), kneeling, crouching, and minimal crawling.
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Occasional use of office equipment (copy machines, telephones, computers).

Work Environment

• Department: Outpatient Clinic
• Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Occasional
• Call: None required
• Patient Load: Up to 10 patients per day
• Patient Types: Diverse, including neurological, orthopedic, and developmental cases
• Dress Code: Black scrubs; unapproved attire includes unapproved t-shirts and yoga pants

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in outpatient physical therapy settings
