Overview

  • Travel assignment in Riverside, California
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract

Unit Details

  • Labor and Delivery unit
  • 11 labor beds, 4 ObEval, 2 OB PACU, and 2 ORs
  • Day shift staffing: 1 Charge, 10 Staff, 2 OB Tech
  • Night shift staffing: 1 Charge, 10 Staff, 2 OB Tech
  • Patient ratio: 1 RN/2 patient, 1 RN/1 patient
  • Uses GE fetal monitoring

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN
  • Couplet Care
  • Post Partum experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
  • Transition Nurse/Baby Catching

Clinical Responsibilities

  • NST
  • Cervical exam
  • Managing labor
  • Titrating meds
  • McRoberts

Floating

  • Postpartum-Couplets

Schedule

  • Weekends and on-call may be required as needed
