Registered Nurse (OR) - Travel Position

Location: Winchester, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a surgical services unit. The role involves working Monday through Friday, day shift, with participation in an on-call rotation that may include weekends.

Work Schedule

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (10-hour shifts)
On-call rotation: 6-8 calls per month, including possible weekends
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience with Epic electronic medical records system
Surgical specialty experience including Trauma, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic Surgery
