Peri Anesthesia RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Variable shifts between 5:00am and 8:00pm
Call required
Weekend coverage about once every 5–6 weeks
Rare float requirement

Unit

Peri Anesthesia
19-bed pre-op/same day surgery area and 12-bed Phase I PACU
Both areas are required in each travel contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Arterial line management
Dysrhythmia recognition and management
Endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures
ENT procedures
Gynecological procedures
Orthopedic procedures including total joint replacement and spine surgery
