• Classification: RN-CCU/ICU
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Weekend: rotating
• Call: no
• Floating: may float as needed to other ICUs depending on volume and acuity; on rare occasions may float to PCU

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS
• BLS
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience
• Ventilated patient care experience
• Post-CABG care experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech experience
• CVICU experience

Unit Notes

• Very high acuity unit with ECMO, heart transplant, and CABG
• Bedside shift report required with updates to white board
• Rudeness is not tolerated
