Respiratory Therapist

Overview

• Travel contract in Tacoma, Washington.
• 13-week assignment.
• Department: RT.
• Adult patients only.
• Inpatient/ED coverage.
• Night shift, 3 days per week.
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• No call requirement.
• Never the only RT in-house.

Required Qualifications

• 2 full years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Active WA license.
• BLS.
• ACLS.
• RRT preferred; CRT will be reviewed.

Preferred

• RRT preferred over CRT.

Clinical Details

• Must have critical care and mechanical ventilation experience.
• RTs assist with intubations.
• Duties include drawing and analyzing ABGs from A-line and punctures.
• Ventilator equipment includes 840, 980, V60, and Vapotherm.
• Hospitalist or intensivist is in house.
• Department-specific orientation is provided.
