Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

ND RN license
ACLS, BLS, and PALS, all AHA
2 years minimum PACU experience
Able to take PEDS patients
Able to take high acuity patients
Acute/hospital experience
Large hospital (250+) experience

Preferred Qualifications

Critical Care experience

Unit Details

18 Bay Phase I PACU and 14 bay Phase I PACU
2 floors, same staff
ASPAN Standards ratio: 1-1 or 2-1

Responsibilities

Cares for all surgical specialties, adults and Pediatric, including ICU, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and IR patients post-procedures

Schedule

36-40 hours
Majority of hours are 0700-2300
Occasional night shifts
Varied weekend rotation
Can work 8- and 12-hour shifts
Backup call in rotation with staff
Maybe 2 weeknights/month and up to every 4th weekend

Floating

Could float between campuses for Phase I PACU

Additional Notes

Cannot take travelers living within a 60-mile radius of the facility
Local travel rate applies for those living 60 to 80 miles from the facility
Manager will reach out directly to interview prior to offering
Basic hospital/unit orientation
Buddy RN on unit
Hospital provided scrubs
