Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts
Setting
- Stepdown care unit
- 20 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 3:1
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS certification
- ICU or intermediate stepdown experience with a 3:1 or 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Trach and ventilator experience
- Must be able to titrate drips
Additional Details
- ACLS is recommended
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday rotation required
- No call or standby requirement
- Floating may include ICU, other stepdown units, or general medicine depending on experience
- 12 hours of non-billable orientation
- Drug screen required
- Submission requires the last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off
