Registered Nurse - Surgery (Contract)

Location: Salida, Colorado

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Surgical RN position in a scenic mountain town known for outdoor recreational activities including hiking, biking, skiing, and whitewater rafting.
• Work schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Call duties are distributed equitably among staff.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum of 3 years OR Circulate experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Hours per Week

• 40 hours (Five 8-hour shifts)

• No prior travel experience required.
