Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (10 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Apply the nursing process including assessment, interdisciplinary treatment planning, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patient responses.
• Assign and evaluate the work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room.
• Ensure appropriate documentation reflecting patient needs and care.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing required

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Operating Room experience within the last year

Additional Information

• No prior travel experience required
• Focus on surgical patient care in the operating room setting
