• 40 hours per week
• On-call required

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Utah
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• ARRT (R) or Vascular/Interventional radiography certification
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• High school diploma or GED
• Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) required for this assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• PALS certification

Role Summary

• Prepares patients for exam, verifies orders, and ensures proper patient identification
• Produces quality images and operates imaging equipment
• Completes required documentation, including time stamps and image storage
• Maintains work area and stocks supplies
• Transports patients as needed
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech
• Applies closure devices, sutures the sheath in place, or removes the sheath and applies pressure to obtain hemostasis at the end of procedures
• Provides patient education and comfort as needed
