Respiratory Therapist
Location
- Paducah, Kentucky
Schedule
- 3 days/week
- 12-hour shifts
- 1730-0600
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in respiratory care
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Kentucky
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care
- Healthcare or customer service experience
- Limited permit/student respiratory license experience
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions
- Provide invasive and non-invasive ventilator support
- Perform diagnostic testing and blood gas sampling
- Deliver medicated and non-medicated respiratory therapies
- Manage airway care and respiratory equipment
- Document patient care and communicate findings to the care team
- Support quality improvement, safety, and departmental operations
