Location: Denver, Colorado
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 10 AM start
Hours: 9 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
Provide health teaching and counseling.
Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Utilize resources efficiently.
May float to other departments within competency and qualifications.
May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.
Cross-coverage in pre-op and 4x9 weekday schedule.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse.
Proficient in resource utilization within clinical settings.
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience.
