Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Role Summary
- Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
- Responsible for an assigned group of patients and coordinates care, documentation, medication administration, IV infusions, blood products, and discharge education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Tracheostomy experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- ICU experience
- Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Skills
- Professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
- Some computer skills
