Contract

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • Day shift
  • 4 x 9-hour shifts
  • Variable shifts
  • 36 hours per week

Setting

  • Primarily acute care
  • Some inpatient rehabilitation
  • No outpatient

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
  • Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, treat, and educate patients in independent living, community reintegration, functional cognitive retraining, upper extremity function, perceptual activities, and assistive equipment/splinting/positioning
  • Evaluate patients, establish treatment goals and anticipated outcomes, and deliver skilled assessments and treatments
  • Reassess patient progress and revise treatment plans and goals as needed
  • Delegate and supervise students, assistants, and technicians within scope of authority
  • Perform other assigned duties
