RN Surgical Specialty

Overview

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Unit type: Med/surg and stepdown/acute care surgical transplant floor

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Stepdown (1 year of experience)
Stepdown experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
No OR (operating room) experience
Med Surg experience
Transplant experience

Preferred Experience

ENT experience
Transplant experience
Preceptor experience
Charge experience

Role Highlights

Cares for post-surgical kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients
Cares for pre-transplant patients being evaluated during inpatient stay
May work in med/surg or stepdown based on unit needs
Not a PACU position
Does not accept OR candidates
