Radiation Therapist

Location

Kearney, Nebraska

Schedule

Days
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Typical schedule: 4 days per week, 32 hours

Assignment Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

BLS (AHA)
Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T)
Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy Program
Driver’s license required at submittal
Must be outside the 50-mile radius
Cannot be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity

Job Responsibilities

Administer radiation to patients
Perform CT simulations
Other duties as assigned

Skills

Proficiency in administering radiation therapy
CT experience
Patient care experience
Good communication skills

Additional Notes

Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
Varian TrueBeam experience is preferred
No weekend or holiday shifts
Does not float
