Echo Technologist (Contract)

Location: Newport, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 19 weeks

Job Details

• Day shift, Monday through Friday (5 days per week)
• 40 hours per week
• Position based in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in a small town near the Canadian border
• Limited public transportation; personal transportation strongly recommended
• Opportunity to live in a community with outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
• Support provided for transition into the community and role
• Attendance required at department quarterly education sessions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Echo Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification
• BLS/BCLS certification required
