- ICU 650
- 14 beds
- Patient ratio is generally 2:1
- Floating area: IMC/PCU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Utah
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Experience with Hemodynamics
- Experience with CRRT
- Experience with external ventricular drains (EVD)
- Experience with ventilator management
- Experience with proning
- Experience with bedside tracheostomy
- Experience with bedside procedures
- Experience with Thoracentesis
- Experience with inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
- Experience with swan-ganz catheters
- Experience with Meditech
Unit Equipment / Clinical Environment
- Vents
- Pumps
- Swans
- CRRT
- Chest tube
- Occasionally balloon pumps and impellas
Typical Procedures
- Central line placement
- Intubation
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
