Overview

• Travel RN backfill assignment
• Medical/Surgical - Telemetry unit
• 1 opening
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend / as needed
• Call as needed
• May require travel within 25-mile radius of the facility
• 41 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Serves all ages
• Common diagnoses/treatments include post-op orthopedic procedures and total joints

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Handle with Care
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

• Must have critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• No specific scrub color required
• No casual wear
