Role Overview

Travel RN assignment in Lewiston, Maine
Specialty: Med-Surg/Tele
Unit: M2 Ortho
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Float scope: all sister units

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience

Unit Details

190-bed facility
Adult and geriatric patient population
Patient ratio: 1:4-5
Common diagnoses/treatments include total hip, total knee, total shoulder, hip fracture, spine surgery, trauma surgery, and general medical/surgical overflow

Additional Notes

Common meds include Hydromorphone PCA and epidurals
High volume of daily discharges and admissions
No call requirement
