Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Position

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal ICU, Pediatric Emergency Room

Contract Length

13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: E3MCSC (3 Heart)
Number of Beds: 15
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 1-0 PCTs
Patient Ratios: 3-4 patients per RN
Equipment Used: Sheaths, telemetry, gtts
EMR System: Cerner

Required Skills and Certifications

Must Have:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Preferred:
- Charge nurse experience
Floating Areas:
- All Med Surg
- All Step Down

Typical Procedures

Post Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Post Catheterization (Cath) Lab

Work Environment

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Schedule: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
