Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP (preferably within 2 weeks of offer acceptance)
Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 twelve-hour shifts)
Schedule: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Position Type: Float Pool (must be willing to float between multiple departments and facilities)
Job Description
The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. The nurse will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provide supervision to assigned personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Ability and willingness to float between departments and multiple facilities
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
- Scrub color: Any color allowed
