Travel RN - Cath Lab

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Overview

Unit: Cath Lab
Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath/EP suites
Staff: 16
Shift:
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Night Shift: Rotating on-call
Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in Cath Lab procedural area
Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
Certifications: ACLS required
Skills:
- Scrub and monitoring skills
- Experience in Cath Lab procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with EP/Structural Heart procedures
Right Heart monitoring skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Typical Procedures

Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
EP Ablations
Pacemakers (Pacers)
Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs)
Cardioversions
Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs)
Tilt Table Tests

Additional Information

Must take on-call responsibilities with the team
Must live within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab
High functioning team with engaged physicians
Strong structural heart program
Low call ratio
Beautiful Colorado location with skiing and outdoor activities
