Job Overview

• Travel/contract assignment
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Day shift: 3x12s, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• May float within scope and may be assigned to sister facilities
• Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, Magnet hospital

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of sterile processing experience
• Experience in sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrap
• Level I trauma experience
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• CBSPD and/or HSPA certification
• South Carolina state license verification required
• Physical assessment for sterile processors completed and signed by a licensed provider
• CMP and CBC with differential required
• Proof of 2 clinical references
• Complete application/resume with all PTO, contract assignments, agency names, and no unaccounted gaps
• Annual background check
• Annual education verification
• Annual skills checklist, if applicable
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Fit test within 90 days before start and renewed annually
• 10-panel drug screen within 90 days before start
• Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
• Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption
• COVID vaccination documentation or declination
• South Carolina state exclusion list clearance
• Work history verification for the last 3 clinical employers

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis if within 60 miles
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Holiday coverage is expected if holidays are not included in requested time off and the facility is open
• Parking requires a one-time $20 pass for nights and weekends
• Hurricane season assignments may include emergency response team duties
