Shift Details

Night shift, 3 shifts per week (Friday to Sunday)
12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
On-call as needed for call-off coverage

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
First-time travelers are accepted (no prior travel experience required)

Job Summary

Perform CT scans applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
Practice radiation safety methods at all times
Select appropriate technical factors to limit re-exposure
Use independent judgment and initiative in technical procedures
Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy required
Provide patient care and communication to reduce patient apprehension
Work settings include outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level I trauma, community hospital, and adult ICU

Certifications and Licenses

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ARRT certification
IEMA certification
Experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings
Phlebotomy skills
Experience with MEDITECH system

Documentation and Compliance Requirements

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
Emergency contact form prior to start
Background checks including:
- Social Security trace, county, nationwide, sex offender, and employment verification for the last 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks annually
- Illinois Adult Abuse Registry Search (can pend at start)
Education verification (transcript or diploma acceptable)
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask testing within 12 months of start (specific mask types required)
Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of immunity or vaccination per birth year guidelines)
- Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
- Varicella (titer, vaccination, or history of chickenpox)
9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
COVID-19 medical or religious exemptions allowed with proper documentation
Flu vaccination strongly recommended but not required
