Registered Nurse - BICU (Night Shift) - Travel/Contract
Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week)
- Schedule: Will work every other weekend and float as needed
- Patient Population: May include non-critical assignments; mixed patient populations on unit
- Facility Type: Short term acute care hospital, Level II Trauma Center
- Charting System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- Minimum 2 years of Burn ICU experience, with at least 1 year of Burn ICU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS certification
Compliance and Documentation
- Must provide photo ID matching legal name on first day
- Employment application with 7-year work history, no gaps greater than 90 days
- Verification of last 7 years of employment (attestations not accepted)
- Skills checklist within 12 months of start
- Attestation of prior radiation exposure if assigned to specific units (e.g., Cath Lab, Radiation Oncology, MRI Tech, etc.)

- Candidate may be assigned to non-critical care patients as needed
