Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Oncology

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Full-time position with 10-hour day shifts
  • Work in an ambulatory oncology infusion center
  • Must have experience with oncology infusion, including solid tumor, hematology, and medical infusion regimens
  • Peripheral IV experience required
  • Site is approximately 8 miles west of Boston; personal car required
  • Free onsite parking available for travelers

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of oncology experience
  • Oncology experience within the last year
  • Experience in an outpatient setting
  • BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Peripheral IV experience
  • Infusion experience

Additional Notes

  • No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing
  • Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start
  • Some immunizations and health requirements are strongly preferred but optional (e.g., Hepatitis B, Tdap)
  • Background checks and credential verifications must be current and updated if there are breaks in employment longer than 6 months
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

This role is ideal for experienced infusion oncology RNs seeking a long-term assignment in an outpatient ambulatory setting with a focus on oncology infusion therapies.
