Location: Passaic, New Jersey
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 7 weeks

Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the Cardiovascular Lab.
Address psychosocial, physical, and general care aspects related to the surgical environment.
Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition.
Assist with maintenance of equipment and inventory.
Assess procedure room and equipment readiness.
Obtain supplies for individual cases and support the Cardiovascular Laboratory team.
Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
Continuously monitor and record patient condition while in the Cardiovascular Lab.
Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab within the last year.
Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a Critical Care area.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Completion of Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP).
