Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Nights

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Job Description

• Provide critical care to seriously ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform complex procedures.
• Respond rapidly to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• ICU staffing ratio typically 2:1, occasionally 3:1.
• Float to Emergency Department to manage holds and sometimes care for med-surg patients (5:1 ratio).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
• Minimum 5 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
• On-call pay is provided at a fixed hourly rate with a minimum payout.
• Applicants living within 50 miles of the job location may be considered for a reduced travel rate.
• Former direct employees of the facility are subject to a 6-month non-compete period before eligibility for agency placement.
