Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role
• ICU Float assignment
• 13-week contract
• 3 x 12-hour day/night rotation as needed
• 36 hours per week
• No on-call
• Weekend rotation required
• Float required as needed
• True full float position across CPMC Van Ness, CPMC Mission Bernal, and CPMC Davies
• Travelers may be scheduled at a different campus for each shift; mid-shift floating is very rare

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Critical Care Float experience within the last year
• 4 years of Critical Care Float experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 7-year background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• FACIS Level 3 screening
• California - Medi-Cal Search Result
• Sex Offender Search
• State license verification within 30 days of start
• NURSYS verification within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start
• TB screening questionnaire within 90 days of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Drug screen within 6 months of start
• Employment application with full 7 years of work history and no gaps
• Unit-specific skills checklist
• Work history verification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Additional Notes

• ICU and MS/Tele RNs working at CPMC locations are required to take an EKG exam onsite after start
• Travelers will be notified 2 hours prior to start time where they should report to
