Operating Room RN

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract RN position in Fortuna, California
  • 26-week assignment
  • Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year

Health and Compliance Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit mask clearance required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024
  • Tdap vaccination within 10 years or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and COVID documentation or declination as applicable
  • Drug screen within 12 months of start
  • Respiratory safety clearance required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024

Assignment Notes

  • Traveler may be required to float to another facility within a reasonable distance
  • Badge photo required before start
