Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) / Operating Room (ORT) - Travel Position

Location

Lewiston, Maine

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Call Requirements: 3 weeknights and 1 weekend per month
Float Required within OR and Supplies department
Work setting: Level 2-3 Main Operating Room with 8 rooms, approximately 575 cases per month
Electronic Health Record system: Cerner

Unit and Patient Population

Trauma Level III facility
Surgical specialties include cardiac, orthopedic, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, urology, plastics, robotics, podiatry, and endoscopy
Inpatient and outpatient care in a community hospital setting

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA and/or NCCT Certification)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist, including experience within the last year
Experience as a Vascular Technologist
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Experience with Cerner Electronic Health Record system
