Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology

Location: Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Department: Radiology, Interventional Radiology (IR) Floor
EMR System: Meditech Expanse
Current Staff: 1 nurse on unit
Typical Day Shift Staffing Example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Typical Procedures: Biopsy, ablations, paracentesis, thoracentesis

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Self-motivated and takes initiative

Additional Information

Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
Weekend and on-call requirements may apply
