Registered Nurse (Med/Surg)

Location: Jamestown, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Unit: Medical-Surgical (16 beds)
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a Med/Surg unit with telemetry patients.
Perform dressing changes, manage ventilators, start IVs, and monitor telemetry.
Use electronic systems including EPIC, Space Labs, and Omnicell for charting and medication management.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota.
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year (minimum 1 year).
BLS Certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Orientation & Training

One week (8 hours non-billable) orientation focused on unit-specific training.
Orientation includes 12-hour night shifts.

Schedule & Work Environment

12-hour night shifts.
Typically work every 3rd weekend.
Dress code: Scrubs.
No floating to other units.

Additional Notes

Local candidates are accepted.
Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.
