Overview

- Patient population: Post PCI's, Post Bypass, CHF
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of CVICU experience
- CVICU experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
- Experience pulling sheaths
- CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Open heart experience
Unit Details
- 24/7 intensivist/hospitalist coverage
- RT assigned 24/7 to ICU/PCU
- Tele monitor tech monitors the unit; RNs interpret strips
- Tele monitor brand: Draeger
