Registered Nurse — Emergency Department

Location

• Peoria, Illinois

Contract

• 26 weeks
• 12-hour night shifts
• 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• BLS
• ACLS
• ENPC or PALS
• TNCC or TNS

Experience

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• 1 prior travel assignment preferred

Clinical Details

• Level 1 trauma emergency department
• Typical patient population ranges from newborns to elderly patients, including critically ill, stroke, heart attack, and trauma patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:3-5, depending on acuity and department needs

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required every other holiday or based on department needs
• No call requirement
• May be floated as a help-all on other units, though this is rare

Additional Notes

• Local placements within 50 miles are accepted
• Drug screen required
• Submission requires the last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off
