• Travel/Contract role in West Islip, New York
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• 12-week contract

• 437-bed teaching hospital
• Level II Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in New York
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Preferred

• COVID vaccine documentation if the candidate has received it

Other Notes

• Uniform: scrubs in all white, all navy, or a combination of the two colors
• Driver’s license or state ID with address and clear picture is required
• Flu vaccine required from October 1 to April 30; declinations allowed, with exemptions case by case for religious or medical reasons
• Standard 9-panel drug screen required
• Skills checklist must be current within the last year and applicable to the position
