Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Unit: Adult inpatient medical unit
• Role: Discharge coordination and planning
• Floating: Position may float between units
• On-call: Not required
• Weekends: Not required
• Block schedules: Not required
• Expected patient ratio: 1:20
• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
• Charting System: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Washington
• Minimum of 1 year of Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience within the last year

Additional Requirements

• Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency and other exams as applicable by specialty
• Skills Checklist: Required for applicable units, updated annually
• Float Policy: Acknowledgement required; may float to other facilities within reasonable distance
• Annual Regulatory Training: Completion of annual Workramp modules including regulatory, specialty-specific, and regional core modules as applicable
• Epic Training: Completion of Epic modules within a week of orientation (transcripts required)

• Parking is free at the facility
• Scrub color is flexible (any color allowed)
• Surgical services scrubs provided if applicable
• No on-call or weekend requirements make this a standard weekday schedule
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

This position offers an opportunity to work in a Level III Trauma Center with a focus on adult inpatient discharge planning, floating between units, and a consistent day shift schedule.
