Job Opportunity: CVICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Float Opportunities: May float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, Burn ICU as needed
Local Radius: 75 miles (no local candidates accepted)
Scrub Color: Navy
Welcoming first-time travel nurses

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, with CVICU experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Certifications (must have in hand):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are welcome
Background checks include SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender, and education verification
Fingerprinting required only for New Mexico placements (not applicable here)
Orientation includes safety manual acknowledgment and HIPAA compliance
References are not required for clearance but may be requested internally
Candidates must be able to work every other weekend and float to other ICU units as needed
