Operating Room Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract

Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per day (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Late day shift until 7:00 PM on rotation 1-2 times per week
Call coverage currently handled but may be possible in the future
Minimal Return to Office (RTO) accepted (less than 5 days)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
E-Verify or Attestation documentation
7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, FACIS Level 3
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
NURSYS verification for RN license
Education verification and diploma/transcript as applicable
Professional references: 2 required within 3 years of start

Health & Safety Requirements

Physical exam within 1 year of start date
10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine, Opiates, Oxycodone, Marijuana (THC), Methadone, Fentanyl)
Immunizations and titers required:
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination acceptable)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: positive titer or proof of 2 vaccines (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B: positive titer, 3-dose vaccine series, or declination required
- Varicella: positive titer or proof of 2 vaccines (no declinations accepted)
Negative TB test (2-step PPD, T-spot, or Q-Gold) within 12 months or chest X-ray if positive
Annual TB questionnaire completion
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved declination form required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
COVID vaccination or approved declination form required

Orientation & Training

Completion of HealthStream modules prior to start (2-3 hours; must be completed by Friday afternoon before Monday start)
Review and sign Commitment to Excellence Standards and Staff Orientation materials prior to start
Photo for badge (passport-style with solid background) required
Fit mask test and color blind exam completed onsite during orientation
